About Halal Forward
A community coming together to solve problems together.
Why We Started This
We've all seen it. Young Somali boys and girls losing their way. News headlines blaming our community. Parents feeling helpless. Elders being scammed. Families falling apart.
But we also see something else: A community full of strength, love, and people who want to help — they just don't know how.
Halal Forward brings us together. Not to talk, but to act. Every person contributes what they can. Together, we solve problems no one can solve alone.
"It takes a village to raise a child. We are rebuilding our village."
Our Approach
Collective Action
No one person owns a problem. We all contribute based on what we can give — time, money, skills, or connections.
📊 Accountability
We track progress publicly. The community sees what's working and what needs more help.
Multiple Approaches
Different groups try different solutions to the same problem. We learn what works best.
